Luanda – Angola Airlines TAAG will receive its second Airbus A200-300 aircraft on Friday (March 14), as part of the expansion and modernisation of its fleet.
The aircraft is expected to arrive in the afternoon, with the formal reception ceremony taking place at António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN), in the province of Icolo & Bengo, according to a note from the national flag carrier to which ANGOP had access.
The first Airbus A200-300 was acquired last year.
The A200-300 aircraft is an aircraft equipped with cutting edge technology, with a reduction in fuel consumption of around 25% compared to other models.
With 86 years, TAAG offers 12 domestic and 11 international destinations, with a fleet of 23 aircraft, with models Dash 8-Q400 (6) Boeing 737-700 (7), Boeing 777-200 (3), Boeing 777-300 (5), A220-300 (1) and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (1).
