Luanda - Angolan Airlines (TAAG) receives on Thursday, the first aircraft of type Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, a statement of the national flag company said on Tuesday.
According to the statement, it is one of the four aircraft of this model that the country will acquire to strengthen the Angolan airline's regional and intercontinental routes.
The aircraft is expected to land at the António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN), located in Icolo and Bengo province.
The Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" stands out for its high level of technology, interior design and, from an operational point of view, fuel economy and environmental sustainability.
With 86 years of existence, TAAG is the leading company in the Angolan aviation market, globally recognized, with sustained growth, offering 12 domestic and 11 international destinations.
It currently has a fleet of 22 aircraft, including Dash 8-Q400 (6 aircraft), Boeing 737-700 (7), Boeing 777-200 (3), Boeing 777-300 (5) and an A220-300. OPF/VC/DAN/AMP
