Luanda - The services of TAAG - Angola Airlines - are being promoted at the 10th edition of the Mozambique International Tourism Fair (FIKANI 2024), opened last Thursday, in Maputo.

At the event, running until the 11th, the Angolan carrier “details” the tourist destinations in Angola, promoting the country to exhibitors and visitors from different parts of the world.

Likewise, the fair is an opportunity to promote the Luanda hub and the Company's connectivity across the African continent and intercontinental connections to Europe and the Americas, says a note sent to ANGOP today.

The company's stand is also designed with emphasis on the cargo and mail segment, given the importance of intra-African and north-south trade exchanges, where TAAG positions itself and presents itself in the market as a facilitator.

According to the document, the Angolan delegation has been meeting with strategic partners and collecting data on the dynamics of the tourism sector in the region and the main trends in the industry. Among the visits to the stand, one from the Angolan ambassador to Mozambique, José Manuel, stands out.

FIKANI Mozambique is the largest fair in the tourism sector in that country, being a reference event in the region and attracting various economic agents and entities in the tourism and travel subsector.

The participation of the national air carrier in this event constitutes a competitive advantage for business development exchange, being an important platform to promote Angola, as well as the company's regional and international routes.

Currently, TAAG has four weekly flights to Maputo, with departures from Luanda on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. VC/DOJ
