Talatona – Startup SIA, Toke Média and Bayka Pay won the 2nd edition of the Angola Startup Summit 2023, in the categories of "BCI Challenge", "MEP Challenge" and "GPL Challenge".
The award gala based on three categories marked the closing of the 2nd edition of the event on Saturday in Luanda.
The event took place from 27 to 29 April under the motto “Innovation and technology as vectors for the size of startups in Angola”.
The winners, who received the value of 10 million Kwanzas each, will also benefit from a PwC business plan, promoted by Deloite in the area of legal, accounting and management consultancy and the internationalization of the startup offered by KPMG.
For Erivaldo Munjanga, one of the members of the SIA group, winner of the "BCI Challenge" category, representing the country in Portugal is an opportunity to grow in business, exchange experiences and mature.
The award ceremony and was attended by the minister of Economy and Planning, Mário Caetano João, and Government officials.
The event brought together companies, government institutions, accelerators, incubators, co-working, universities, investors and other players in the startup ecosystem.
There were Startups from the provinces of Cunene, Huíla, Malanje, Zaire and Luanda.
