Luanda - The Angolan state-owned oil company (Sonangol) launched on Tuesday a simplified international tender based on material criteria, for the import of fuels.
Competitors have from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 to submit their proposals to the competition.
According to the press release, which ANGOP had access to today, 14 companies were invited, among which those that will sign contracts for the supply of gasoline and diesel will be selected, in the form of on-site delivery.
The document highlights that the winners will replace the current supplier companies, whose contracts end on March 31, 2024. Created in 1976, Sonangol is a public company that was created with the aim of establishing a strategy that would allow the continuation of oil production exploration activities after the proclamation of independence in 1975.
