It states that the delegation was received by the company's CEO, António Coelho da Cruz, who presented the main objectives of the CFM, highlighting the great potential of the Southern Corridor for the social and economic development of the region.
The document says that the commercial director of the United Kingdom Embassy, Helder Sampaio, expressed interest in establishing partnerships with the railway, focusing on investment in infrastructures, transfer of technical know-how and support in professional training, including English language teaching.
After the initial conversations, the delegation carried out a guided tour of the CFM facilities, including CITRANS (Center for Innovation and Transport Technologies), the Directorate of General Workshops and the Technical School, where they were able to observe how the technical training structures work.
