Viana – One hundred million kwanzas is the amount that Refriango invested, in the first half of this year, in projects linked to education, culture and sport, the company's marketing director, Tânia Jardim, told the journalist on Wednesday, in Luanda, during a meeting that marked the International Beer Day, to be celebrated on August 2nd.

She added that it also includes activities that involve communities in campaigns about the moderate consumption of alcoholic beverages and its consequences.

Tânia Jardim said that, with 2,700 employees, Refriango caters to the different tastes of Angolan consumers, with the aim of asserting itself as the main national brewing group, with a production of 120 million liters of this product/year.

To mark the anniversary, she assured that the company will launch the “Toast to Beer” competition, which from this Friday will explore its social networks to recruit an official beer taster, who will represent the Tigra brand in social events and become an ambassador for the product outside the country.

She said that registration for the competition will be open during the month of August and the presentation of the 10 finalists will take place in September, who will be put to the test to demonstrate their knowledge and dexterity.

Tânia Jardim recalled that Refriango promotes educational initiatives on road safety, in collaboration with public entities, highlighting its commitment to corporate responsibility and community well-being. FCC/HDC/QCB/DOJ
