The minister said the mentioned amount is part of the 165 million US dollars made available by the AfDB to support the diversification of the Angolan economy.
Dalva Ringote added that in the last few years, the Angolan government has invested in the support of the promotion of women’s entrepreneurship and that at least 1,187 entrepreneurs have been trained in the agribusiness system and value chains, of which 750 are women.

The minister of State also emphasized that the government has a set of actions under execution for the elaboration of the National Development Plan, which is the country's strategic document that will include a set of policies, programmes and measures to be implemented in this five-year term.
The official stressed the need for women to be more confident and bold, increasing their influence over the family budget.
As regards the Made in Angola Expo, the minister said this takes place in line with priorities of the Angolan government as part of its gender promotion and women empowerment process, whose fundamental objective is the equality of opportunities between men and women.
The minister spoke of the need to recognize and appreciate the role of women in all areas of society, political, economic, business, labour, personal and family and to ensure, in a more significant way, the empowerment of young women and rural women, through the strengthening of their professional skills.
The First Edition of the Made in Angola Expo intends, among other objectives, to promote the inclusion of small, medium and large entrepreneurs, with the aim to ensure a good business environment and boost economic growth.
