Luanda - Angolan Executive said that the preparation of the Draft General State Budget (OGE) for 2022 will start next May.
It has to do with a process that will lead to its promulgation in December, by the President of Republic, after debate and approval in the National Assembly.
According to the National Director of Budget of the Ministry of Finance, Nicole Lemos Mvuayi, work is already being done on the budget preparation instructions for 2022.
The official stated that the intention is to make the citizen also participate and directly in the choices of projects, programmes and expenses, to be channeled and that reflect their concerns and needs.
The State Budget for 2021 that was approved in December 2020 foresees expenses and revenues of 14.7 billion kwanzas, having as reference the price of a barrel of oil 39 USD.
12.5 percent of the OGE 2021 goes to the sectors of health and education.
