Luanda – The prices of the basic goods are expected to fall by 36 percent for 20-26 June period, compared to November last year.

According to the forecast from the Strategic Food Reserve (REA), it is estimated that a 25-kilogram bag of wheat flour will be sold at 8, 200 Kz against the previous 23,000.

The same amount of cornmeal dropped from 13,800 to 6,200 kwanzas and the 50 kg of sugar went from 24,200 to 18700 kwanzas.

The price of 25 kg of Thai rice decreases from 11,737 to 7,500 kwanzas, 12 liters of soybean oil from 17,450 to 11,000 kz, the value of a 10 kg-box of chicken thighs went down from 10,190 to 7400.

Whereas,  25 kgs of “Pinto” beans changed from 24,000kz to 19,200 kwanzas.

The prices, according to REA, are valid countrywide.
