Luanda - President João Lourenço, arrived at the António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN), after having traveled, by train, for an hour, the railway section that connects the Bungo station, in the center of the city, to this airport infrastructure, in Icolo and Bengo, Luanda, covering a length of 52 kilometers.
The new airport begins this Sunday (Nov 10th) the gradual transfer of commercial passenger flight operations on the Luanda-Cabinda route, from TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola (Angola Airways).
For the 10th, four return flights to Cabinda are scheduled, from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm, with Dash 8-400 aircraft.
During the month of December, TAAG will operate flights on routes in the eastern region (Dundo, Saurimo and Luena) and Soyo from AIAAN and, progressively, in the 2025 1st quarter, will complete the transfer of the remaining connections domestic and international.
