Uíge – At least 55 agricultural producers from the municipality of Damba, in Uíge province, are exhibiting the town's agricultural potential at the seventh edition of the agricultural fair, which opened on Saturday in the municipal town.
The three-day event marks the opening of the 113th anniversary of the elevation of the municipality of Damba to town status, and brings together producers from the communes of Nssoso, Camatambo, Kussupete and Lemboa.
Among the products on display are cassava, bananas, sweet potatoes and reindeer, beans, ginguba, sugar cane, aquaculture products and vegetables (cabbage, tomatoes, chillies, carrots and onions).
At the opening of the event, Damba's municipal administrator, Eulália Changango, said that the fair aims to demonstrate the municipality's agricultural potential, at a time when it is celebrating another anniversary.

To mark the 113th anniversary of the town of Damba, recreational and sporting activities, visits to places of historical interest, inaugurations and other activities have been scheduled.
