Porto Amboim - The Customs Fiscal Unit of Porto Amboim, Cuanza-Sul province, was inaugurated on Saturday as part of the reinforcement of the fight against tax evasion in the region.
Opened by the 2nd general commander of the National Police, chief commissioner Domingos Andrade, the infrastructure, with five modular buildings, it is located in a global area of 15 thousand square meters, of which four thousand are for construction, and was budgeted at 400 million kwanzas.
Speaking to the press, the commander of the Customs Fiscal Police, Commissioner Manuel Chima, highlighted the importance of the property, saying that the new unit's vocation is also to combat smuggling of goods.
He stressed that, from now on, taxpayers will be able to be duly served with regard to customs matters, as well as actions linked to the General Tax Administration (AGT).
