Mbanza-Kongo – The National Police seized on Sunday, in the municipality of Soyo, northern Zaire Province, about 1,500 liters of fuel, which was destined to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
In a note to which ANGOP had access, on Monday, the corporation informs that the product was packed in 250 liter drums, having been seized in the Kimpondo river channel, when some citizens were trying to transport it to the neighboring country, by canoe.
According to the document, the individuals involved are on the run.

The municipalities bordering the DRC, namely Mbanza-Kongo, Soyo, Cuimba and Noqui, are those that registers the most frequent cases.
