Luanda - Angola has a Crowfounding platform called “Alívio Social” (social relief), launched on Thursday, in Luanda, for creators of social, economic and technological projects.
Speaking to ANGOP, on the sidelines of the launch ceremony, the Plataforma's head, Ribeiro Tenguna, highlighted that it is the 1st initiative of its kind in the country, which seeks to bring together project and content creators and people with innovative ideas.
“We know that there are difficulties in obtaining financing in the market, the platform will allow us to help those who create something and do not have resources, obtain these resources through the community”, he said.
He reinforced that, to participate in the campaigns, all you need to do is have an idea or project, add the platform, and companies must adhere to a plan that enables them to add to the project.
In accordance with this, the Platform deducts 13% at the end of the year, 9% of which goes to Alívio and the remainder to companies that operate cards and electronic payments.
He ensured that there is a security guarantee, with insurance servers, for financiers and those who issue financing requests.
For his part, the CEO of SGEE, Mateus Quissari, highlighted that the platform is an online tool that facilitates the process of capturing, managing and reporting resources donated by supporters.
He highlighted that the platform offers a showcase to publicize projects, a network of contacts to expand the reach of campaigns and a form of recognition and reward for donors.
With the slogan “Come get your projects off the ground, with the help of the community!”, the Alívio platform appears to facilitate students, publishers, activists, writers, NGOs, content creators, musicians, journalists, filmmakers, artists, podcasters, YouTubers, game creators, inventors, taxi drivers, entrepreneurs and innovators.
The crowdfunding platform will facilitate the collection of financial support from the community for projects, social, community, commercial, creative and other initiatives from individuals and organizations that find it difficult to finance their own ideas. HM/AC/CF/DOJ
