Benguela - The new residential hotel called BelleVue, with 22 apartments is open to the public in the municipality of Lobito, in the province of Benguela, thus creating 283 direct jobs and 707 indirect jobs, Angop learned. Apartment size varies from two, three and four bedrooms.

Without revealing the amount invested in the project, the Swiss-Angolan businessman and owner of the development, Etienne Brechet, revealed that the BelleVue building is now available for rent in its entirety or in two parts.

The businessman, who sees the project as a significant mark in the Lobito city, especially in the restinga habitat, thanked all those who worked to make the project a reality, especially the Benguela provincial government and the construction company Casais Angola.

At the launching ceremony of the BelleVue residential in the hotel market, admitted that the number of job posts sees an increase for young people, taking into account the need to hire a cleaning team and maintenance technicians.

“The BelleVue residential complex is more than just a building. It is a symbol of quality, comfort and modernity here in the city of Lobito”, he states.

The entrepreneur emphasizes that the privileged location – on Avenida de Lisboa – and easy access, combined with the tranquility of the neighborhood, make the unit a “truly” special place.

"This is a private investment in a city that I have been visiting since my childhood, which my parents have known since they came to Angola in 1942," concluded the Swiss-Angolan businessman, visibly satisfied with the completion of the work that began in July 2019.

Persistence

It is known that the BelleVue residential development project in the Restinga area faced several constraints.

After seven years of struggling to obtain authorisation to build the project in Restinga which is now inaugurated, Etienne Brechet still had his project embargoed for two years by the local authorities, when the building was already on its fourth floor.
