Luanda - The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira, Thursday in Luanda, pointed to the holding of the Angola International Technology Forum (ANGOTIC-2024) as a factor in supporting national economic diversification.
Speaking at the launch of the 4th edition of ANGOTIC-2024, to be held from 13 to 15 June this year in Luanda, the minister said that by promoting this event, the sector aims to be the locomotive of the country's socio-economic development and the well-being of all Angolans.
On the occasion, the minister said that the forum would make it possible to share experiences and knowledge that would boost the creation of a favourable and attractive environment for private investment, as well as promoting public-private partnerships, with a view to providing services that would make life easier for citizens and businesses.
He also said that as in previous editions, ANGOTIC-2024 aims to be a benchmark international technology event, given the forum's unrivalled content, which will be accompanied by a major exhibition and networking.
Minister Oliveira reiterated that ANGOTIC-2024, under the slogan 'Digitise, Connect and Innovate', serves as a catalyst for collaboration and competition between national and international technology companies.
Mário Oliveira called on the participants to take the opportunity to reflect on the potential and development of telecommunications for new business solutions and to give visibility to the competence of the national and international market.
