Luanda – Angola’s Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira, highlighted the development of the country and its openness to investment in the most varied sectors.
In an interview with CNN recently, the Angolan official said that the country is increasingly open to the world, offering immense opportunities for those interested in investing in the national territory in different sectors, with emphasis on Agriculture, Technology, Industry and Tourism.
'We want to show the American people the new Angola, as well as how America can help in the development of the country in several areas,' he said.
On the occasion, Mário Oliveira referred to the measure taken by the Government to exempt more than 90 countries, as a clear sign of Angola's openness, adding that the objective is to 'position the country in advanced development' and that everyone who wishes to fit in is welcome.
'We have opened to a hundred countries that can enter without needing a visa, we have changed the laws and Angola is available to anyone who wants to help us,' he stressed.
Minister Mário Oliveira reaffirmed that Angola will continue to stand by all those who want to help and that all those who identify with this basic principle will be welcome.
The interview was given as part of US President Joe Biden's visit to Angola, dedicated to the deepening of bilateral relations with the confirmation of US investments in the Lobito Corridor project.
