Dundo - The Minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing, Carlos Dos Santos, began this Wednesday, a working visit to the eastern region of Angola, to oversee the rehabilitation of some roads, as well as the containment and sealing work of ravines.
The visit of the minister, who arrived this morning in the province of Lunda-Norte, begins in the city of Dundo, where he will guide the act of formally handing over the undertaking to contractors that will engage in the containment work and seal of the ravines that threaten the Sagrada Esperança Stadium and Water Treatment Plant.
Next, Carlos Dos Santos will check the level of progression of the Freiras ravine, and later meet with the local government.
On Thursday, the government official will verify the ravines identified along National Road 225 and find out about the level of physical execution of the rehabilitation of National Road 230, in the sections Cangola-Muamussanda, Muamussanda-Sapimbe, Sapimbe-Rio Tô, Rio Tô-Rio Peso and Rio Peso-Saurimo.
On Friday, the minister will begin his field trip in the city of Saurimo, province of Lunda-Sul, where he will visit the works of the future Centrality and check the condition of the Saurimo-Muriege-Muconda sections, on National Road 230.
He will also find out about the Muconda-Cazage-Biula section, National Road (EN) 240.
The minister's visit to the eastern region ends in the province of Moxico, where the state of the Luau/Lumege section, National Road 250.
