Luanda - More than 100 exhibitors from various municipalities in the province of Luanda will participate, from the 30th of this month to the 1st of September, in the first community fair, in Soweto square, in the country's capital.
At the event, organized by the provincial government, more specifically the Agriculture and Integrated Commerce offices, a diversity of agricultural, fishing, poultry, handicrafts, aquaculture and other “Made in Angola” products will be on display.
Its holding is part of the trade reorganization program, with one of the main objectives of the fair being to demonstrate the existence of alternative places for sale with better conditions of comfort and hygiene, as well as safety, according to the Luanda provincial director of Agriculture, João Pedro.
Speaking to ANGOP, Thursday, João Pedro said that this is the kick off of a project extending to the other municipalities in the province, in which similar events should be held simultaneously on weekends, in order to avoid sales in inappropriate places, on the streets.
The fair is open to all interested parties, who must register with one of the administrations, whether communal, district or municipal, and pay 2,500 kwanzas, for the three days of sale, money to be used, among other services, in the maintenance and cleaning of the premises, according to the source. Each exhibitor will have three-square meters. VC/CF/DOJ
