Luanda - The 1st Forum on supportive economy, which aims to reflect on the alternative income generation model, will be held in Luanda, on the 19th and 20th of May, announced today the coordinator of the event, Vânia Frederico.
The meeting, which is budgeted at 11 million kwanzas, is an initiative of Consulting, “Mídia Claque” and “Kixicrédito”, and will bring together national and international specialists, potential agents of the supportive economy, associations, cooperatives, entrepreneurs and businesspeople, public servants and researchers.
The forum, which will also be replicated in other provinces, will take place under the motto 'Supportive economy as an Alternative for Income Generation and Sustainable Development.
In this first experience, according to the source, the goal is to establish bases, criteria, principles and mechanisms of solidarity economy, and the incentive to solidarity economy, through the exchange of goods and services.
Taking into account the existing imbalances in society, Vânia Frederico believes that the event will help to encourage the organization of solidarity enterprises, capable of promoting the improvement of people's living conditions and consequent local development, in ways to combat desertification and social inequalities.
Meanwhile, Kixicredito's marketing director, Helder Catumbela, explained that the event will facilitate the exchange of experiences or contacts between businessmen and local entrepreneurs, as well as encouraging employability, strategic partnerships, consortia, co-working and cooperativism, boosting research and incubation projects for the solidarity economy.
During the event there will be testimonies on practices of saving or making money through the resale of businesses from agents of the informal economy, participants in businesses or programs linked to kixikila.
Helder Catumbela stressed that there is an urgent need to encourage the organization of supportive economy enterprises capable of promoting the improvement of people's living conditions and consequent local development.
