Luanda - The monthly change in the Wholesale Price Index (GPI), from May to June 2022, stood at 1.15%, 0.06 percentage points lower than that recorded in the previous period and 1.17 percentage points lower than in the same month of 2021.
The statistics are contained in the June 2022 Wholesale Price Index Bulletin, released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The document put the year-on-year change in June at 27.22%, adding that there was a decrease of 2.51 percentage points in relation to the same period of the previous year.
INE underlines that the trend of the year-on-year variation in the last three years up to the month of March is increasing, reversing its direction from April 2022.
