IGT records infractions decrease in Namibe

Moçâmedes - The General Labor Inspectorate (IGT) Manager for the province of Namibe, Laura Magalhães, informed that the institution, registered 861 infractions in the 1st half of this year, a reduction of 213 cases compared to the same period last year.

The sectors of commerce, with 428, service provision (187) and health (100) are those with the highest number of transgressions, with most of them reported in the municipalities of Moçâmedes and Tômbwa.

According to the inspector, during the aforementioned period, 2.626.507 were collected, resulting from fines, with emphasis on the lack of registration and payment to Social Security.

The IGT carried out 227 work visits to 115 companies and 2,615 workers were charged, 719 of which were women.

In the last 6 months, 10 work accidents were registered in the province. LG/FA/VC/CF/DOJ
