Luanda – The Housing Development Fund (FFH) chairperson, Hermenegildo Gaspar, on Friday revealed that the eighty-five thousand state-owned houses built in 24 residential towns across the country are sold out.

According to the chairperson, for the province of Luanda, it is now in the final phase of  home delivery process to “Zango Zero” and “Kapari” residential towns.

Speaking at a meeting between the Minister of Finance, Vera Daves, and journalists, at the traditional “Press Breakfast”, Hermenegildo Gaspar clarified that the ongoing housing deliveries are aimed at candidates already enlisted in 2016.

With regard to other regions of the country, the chairman of the FFH Board of Directors said that the Fund has to deliver some houses from residential towns of Lubango, in Huíla province and Bailundo, in Huambo province.

At this time, two new residential towns are in the finishing phase in the provinces of Cabinda and Bengo, whose construction processes are under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing (MINOPUH).

It is also expected the construction of residential towns in the provinces of Malanje, Cuanza Sul and Cuando Cubango in comin months.
