Government meets with Large Commercial Areas to discuss SFA

Luanda – Angolan government will hold meeting with the managers from the Large Commercial Areas this that Stimulate the Economy, including access to Public Purchasing for companies participating in the Made in Angola Service (SFA).

The meeting will be chaired by the Secretary of State for Economy, Ivan dos Santos, according to a press release reached ANGOP.

State and budgeted units will, as of January 2024, be required to purchase products with “Service Made in Angola, according to a decision adopted by the Angolan Executive.

The Service Made in Angola (SFA) is another instrument of the Executive, coordinated by the Ministry of Economy and Planning and operated by INAPEM, with a view to complementing programmes to support national production.

The SFA encourages the increase in national production, promote products with national added value equal to or greater than 30%.

It also stimulates competitiveness and promote the improvement of product quality and encourage these product consumption. HEM/PPA/CF/NIC
