Lucapa - At least 650 million kwanzas has been earmarked for combat of ravine located in 10 de Novembro neighborhood, municipality of Lucapa, in eastern Lunda Norte province.
Angola’s minister of Public Works and Housing Carlos Santos chaired the first stone laying ceremony on Sunday (26) for the start of the contract, whose works are supposed to last 12 months.
The CEO of Road traffic Fund, Conceição Cristóvão, said the project is part of the plan for emergency works and containment of ravines in the country.
There are currently 742 ravines cataloged in the country, of which 84 in Lunda Norte, which require urgent intervention.
