Luanda - Belgian and Turkish investors have joined the host Angolans at Mining business forum in Luanda.
The event allowed the participants to learn of the current mining market in the country.
The forum aimed to promote debates on the development of the Angolan mining industry.
The event was organised by consultant “Bumbar Mining”, with the support of the National Agency for Mineral Resources (ANRM), Geological Institute (IGEO), Catoca Mining Society, Sodiam EP, among others.
The one-day event addressed Topics such as the place of “Geological studies for the mining business”, “The impact of sector policies and the role of the regulator”.
Other themes include “The challenge of Ornamental Rock” and “The role of geosciences”.
The investors addressed the role of financial institutions and chambers as well as associations in the mining business and the results of studies conducted by Planageo (National Geology Plan).
