Luanda – The diversity of activities linked to social responsibility and environmental sustainability are among the main actions of 14 subsidiary companies of the Omatapalo group, which is participating in the FILDA 2024 39th edition, which started last Tuesday.
Among the companies at the fair, Omatapalo - Engenharia e Construção, Enerline, Metalosul, Emadel Carpintaria, Emadel Lar, Drill Go and Siema stand out, who brought to the expo a unique and diversified portfolio that is 100% Angolan, including the cultural component, with emphasis on the Kapossoca Orchestra.
By the way, Yara Custódio, spokesperson for the Omatapalo group, stated that the company is proud to once again participate in the country's largest business exchange, with “such a robust and diverse” representation.
“Each day of the fair, the group presents two or more companies, which exhibit their projects and services, which reflects the continuous growth of the business group”, she highlighted.
According to her, the business group's presence at the fair represents an excellent opportunity to create and develop relationships with potential customers, partners and investors, helping to promote the economic and sustainable development of Angola.
The fair's third day, dedicated to the mobile telephone operator Unitel, was attended by a guided visit by the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança Costa, who interacted with the exhibitors and was satisfied with the agri-food potential evident at the event.
Another highlight that also marked that day was the holding of the 15th meeting of businesspeople for economic and commercial cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP), aimed at strengthening business cooperation.
In addition to agricultural products, movable goods, drinks, craft materials, agricultural machinery and technological services are also on display at the fair.
Beside national exhibitors, the event runs with the participation of Portugal, the country with the largest foreign representation (more than 100 participants), Brazil, Italy, the United States of America, Indonesia, Canada, Germany and Spain.
With more than 1,350 exhibitors, the event is the biggest showcase for national promotion, business and job promotion.
The FILDA 39th edition takes place from the 23rd to the 28th of this month under the motto “Food security and international partnership: the binomial of economic diversification”, in an area of 144 thousand square meters, 42 thousand of which are playful exhibition areas.
