Luanda - The exhibition of technological solutions to solve different socio-economic problems in the country was one of the highlights of the fourth day of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA 2024), which ends this Sunday (28), in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE).
Among several technological innovations presented by the exhibiting companies, the industrial automation, digital transformation and cybersecurity solution, lifelong learning technologies, essential tools to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of companies, stand out.
The initiative of the TIS company also aims to facilitate a significant increase in national production, according to the director of this technology firm, Willian Oliveira.
According to the source, the company is focused on presenting technologies to the market that help companies modernize and leverage their operations with more quality and efficiency.
In the same vein, the fourth mobile operator in Angola also presented its products and services called 'Africell Business' (corporate) and 'AfriMoney' (payment), respectively.
These are innovative technological solutions that allow users of 'AfriMoney', for example, to make transactions between themselves and between organizations within the platform, allowing them to deposit, transfer and withdraw money instantly, according to Africell's corporate product manager, Ludieco João.
He explained, on the other hand, that Africell Business provides services for business development between business partners, as well as contributes to the productivity and efficiency levels of employees.
Another innovation also highlighted were the technological solutions for human capital management and payroll processing, an initiative of the company Cegid.
This service guarantees the quality of life of the worker and increases the productivity of a company, providing efficient tools, with rigor in operations, according to the manager of this form for Angola and Mozambique, João Soares.
Speaking to ANGOP, the official explained that the two innovative offers aim to improve time control, manage vacations, absences, among other elements.
The fourth of Angola's largest business exchange was also marked with the holding of the U.S.-Angola Business Forum, organized by the U.S. Embassy.
On the occasion, the US ambassador to Angola and Sao Tome and Principe, Tulinabo Mushingi, expressed Angola's desire to continue to choose his country as a partner, with a view to continuously strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
In addition, on the day dedicated to the USA, the forum on 'The role of tourism in the economic development of Angola' was also held, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism.
Also on this day, the stallholders received, among other individuals, the visit of the Minister of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, as well as the vice president of the MPLA, Luísa Damião.
FILDA, which has more than 1,350 exhibitors than in the previous edition, is the largest showcase for national promotion, business and job development. In fact, the international character of the event also has a fingerprint in fostering the diversification of the economy.
The 39th edition of FILDA takes place under the motto 'Food security and international partnership: The binomial of economic diversification', in an area of 144,000 square meters, 42,000 of which are recreational exhibition areas.
Its realization in the Special Economic Zone is configured as a direct or indirect invitation to investment in Angola.
In this edition, the fair has the participation of countries such as South Africa, Namibia, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, USA, South Korea and Turkey. QCB/DOJ
