Luena – At least 390 million kwanzas is the value of the projects portfolio approved by the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA), as revealed by the insitution’s board chairwoman, Felisbela Francisco.
Speaking to ANGOP, on the fringes of a meeting with entrepreneurs from the eastern Moxico Province, which happened in the province’s chief town, Luena, Felisbela Francisco explained that for this region 33 projects were approved, among them 30 relating to co-operatives of former soldiers.
Despite the number, she clarified, only 19 projects have already benefited from credit, while the others are expected to start receiving such support in January 2024.
FADA is a non-banking financial institution focused on providing credit for the development of food production, family farming, agricultural co-operatives and associations, as well as supports micro and small firms in this area. ISAU/TC/YD/jmc
