Uíge - More than 300 national and foreign exhibitors will make various products and services available at the Agricultural and Industrial Fair 'Expo-Uíge 2024', which will take place from July 3 to 7 this year, at Independence Square in the city of Uíge.
As part of the celebrations of the 107th anniversary of the city of Uíge, celebrated on July 1st, Expo-Uíge 2024 will take place under the motto “Innovate, diversify and attract investment”.
In addition to providing business scholarships to the north of the country, Expo-Uíge also aims to establish partnerships, as well as contribute to the diversification of the national economy.
According to the program of the 107th anniversary of the city of Uíge, a mega campaign of cleaning and beautification of the city will be carried out, called 'All united, for a clean Uíge', laying of a wreath at the tomb of soba Mbemba Ngango, campaign to collect donations and thanksgiving service.
The program of the Uíge festivities also includes a workshop on municipal regulation, solid waste management, a health fair, legal advice, the first municipal forum on 'Agribusiness as an inducing factor in the productive sector', a gastronomy contest with local products, a handicraft fair, a round table on the historical evolution of the municipality of Uíge, Rock Festival, Rhythmic Gymnastics, among other attractions.
