Dundo - The Angolan state is expected to spend 11 billion kwanzas to tackle three ravines located in north-eastern Lunda Norte Province, the minister of Public Works and Housing, Carlos Santos, said Saturday.
The minister, who was speaking during the ceremony that served to officially present the building companies, appealed to the contractors to comply with the deadlines established in the contract.
The minister explained that the work is part of the emergency plan to contain ravines in the country having revealed that at least 742 ravines have been catalogued nationwide, of which are in 84 Lunda Norte, requiring urgent intervention.
