Luanda - A greater commitment to education, support for family farming, stable electricity supply and improvement of infrastructure in rural areas were pointed out by business people in Luanda as driver factors to achieve the goals established in the Long Term Strategy (ELP - Angola 2050).
At a consultation meeting with entrepreneurs on ELP - Angola 2050 strategy, the attendants also requested for a greater attention to the Angolan business community and asked for the government to expand the Angola’s Development Bank at provincial level to facilitate the funding of local farmers.
They also suggested investing in technological means to support agricultural production for sustainable response to the future challenges of the market, given the increase in demand for food due to country’s population growth in coming years.
