Talatona - More than 100 Angolan entrepreneurs will create strategies for improving the business environment during the First Business Leaders Conference, scheduled for 15 June 2024 in Luanda Province.
The event promoted by the Social and Academic Development Association of Angola will run under the motto “Conference of the CEOS”, and expects to bring together Angolan businesspeople and will count as well with the participation of investors and experts from Luanda, Benguela, Huambo, Huíla, among other provinces.
The aim of the event is to promote the exchange of investment experiences for new partnerships and to promote the Angolan economy, sharing knowledge and experiences with other business leaders in order to improve the business environment in Angola.
According to the general director of the Rofe group, Feliciano Cavalela, at a press conference on Wednesday, the event will be an opportunity to promote entrepreneurs, as well as young people interested in starting a business career.
He said it is important to take advantage of business opportunities at an event where experienced business leaders would present practical mechanisms for developing the country.
He also said that the event will be a chance for investors to present their ideas and innovative projects, adding that he believes that bringing together major businesspeople in one place will be fundamental for Angola's development.
“We need to have an economically stable Angola, but we need to work on polishing entrepreneurs and there is nothing better than bringing people together and developing business”, he said.
In turn, the vice-chairman of the Angola/Canada Business Chamber, Paulo Maurício, said that Canada is interested in partnering with Angola in the business field.
He informed that the two countries are working to sign an agreement in the business area and that this meeting would open up a range of opportunities, also for international businesspeople.
