Uíge – The company Cudiakussala, located in the "Candombe Velho" neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city of Uíge, produces 2000 school meals/day, using cassava flour, sweet potatoes, eggplant, pumpkin, and other agricultural products.
Speaking to ANGOP on Monday, the employee of the Cudiakussala company, Jorge Manuel, explained that they are using cassava, sweet potato, eggplant and pumpkin flour they produce cookies, cakes and bread.
Due to this production, Jorge Manuel reported that they distributed, in 2023, 105,000 school meals, in several primary schools in the municipalities of Púri, Milunga and Damba, Uíge province.
To increase production, the person in charge said that the company, which has 35 workers, needs 800 million Kwanzas, to purchase effective equipment, increase workers and other services.
