Luanda - The fifth and next-to-last day of the 39th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA 2024), which ends this Sunday (28), has the highest point in the awarding of 'Golden Lions' awards to the companies that stood out the most at the event.
The attribution of the respective prizes will be made during a gala, to be held tonight, in one of the hotel units in the Angolan capital, for the public recognition of the companies and entities that stood out the most during the last five days.
The award is made based on the quality of the exhibition, attractiveness of the stand, innovation and application of new technologies, as well as the richness of content, graphic or audiovisual.
Also, part of the criteria are the harmony in the use of the exhibitor's brand in the various elements (constructive, decorative, promotional, graphic and uniforms), available promotional materials and proactivity in service.
In principle, all exhibitors are automatically nominated for each category, and the result of the vote will be known at the end of the event. In this edition, the winners will receive personalized trophies and diplomas, according to the organization.
Among the categories to be awarded, the 'best participation of Public Entities and Companies', 'Public Utility Services', 'Commerce and services', 'Food and Beverages' and 'Civil Construction and Public Works' stand out.
Also included are the categories with the best participation 'International', 'Insurance', 'Banking and Financial Services', 'Agriculture and Fisheries', 'Cosmetics and Health', 'Energy and Water', 'Transport and Logistics', 'Machinery and Equipment' and 'Industry and National Production'.
In addition, exhibitors will compete in the categories of Telecommunications and Information Technology and Media, Oil and Gas, Innovative Products, Best Brand Activation and Best Press Coverage.
For today, Saturday, in addition to the gala of distinction, the program also reserves conferences on 'Food Security - Challenges and Opportunities' and 'The role of INAPEM in fostering initiatives to stimulate the economy'.
Recreational activities for children in the 'KANDENGUE' space and in various restaurants are also part of the program of the event that began on the 23rd of this month, in the Luanda – Bengo Special Economic Zone.
FILDA, which has more than 1,350 exhibitors than in the previous edition, is the largest showcase for national promotion, business and job development. In fact, the international character of the event also has a fingerprint in fostering the diversification of the economy.
The event is attended by 19 countries, with emphasis on South Africa, Namibia, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, USA, South Korea, Turkey and Canada.
The 39th edition of FILDA takes place under the motto 'Food security and international partnership: The binomial of economic diversification', in an area of 144 thousand square meters, 42 thousand of which are recreational exhibition areas.
Its realization in the ZEE – Special Economic Zone, Luanda – Bengo is configured as a direct or indirect invitation to investment in Angola. ASS/QCB/DOJ
