Luanda - The representative of Digital Banking Solutions (DBS), Nuno Fernandes, emphasised today in Luanda the evolution of Angola's banking sector, in line with international best practices, with a focus on digital solutions.
Speaking to the press at the opening of the event "The future of banking now. Where time and technology converge", he said that the mission is to innovate and implement interactive services with the customer in a different way.
Nuno Fernandes emphasised that they are taking an important step with the opening of DBS, because the projects they are implementing really require them to be closer to their customers.
He explained that customers have to see banks as partners, seeking to be more transparent in this process, providing services and hardly having to appear and make financial services available, without customers realising that they are buying financial services, adding that DBS wants to train local bank consultancy teams for a smoother adoption of the technology.
He said that banks can see the Openbank online bank as an opportunity and not as a threat so that they can get closer to their customers.
In turn, banker Vasco Oliveira says that the sector is at an ideal moment in the transition, bearing in mind the dynamism of the market, which is increasingly growing, with equipment, solutions and systems being adapted for the future.
To him, it is important for Angola to be able to make an internal analysis of all the changes.
