A total of 150 new jobs will be created in Lubango, Huila province, with the start of construction work on a shopping center called “World Link”, an investment of Chinese capital estimated at US$12 million.
This is a project located near the Mutundo parallel market, on the outskirts of this city, and will be located in an area of 60,000 square meters.
Speaking Monday, to ANGOP, in Lubango, the manager of the company ANGO-US José Sampaio, informed that it will have 7 floors, the first of which will be reserved for supermarkets and stores, and others for offices and commercial banks.
The project includes warehouses, a parking lot with 42,000 square meters and other spaces.
He said that the center will offer five main business formats, including clothing, footwear, fragrances and will have an area for car repair, food square, agricultural trade, among various financial services.
The presentation of the shopping center was made during Expo-Huíla, which ended Sunday and has already attracted 20 candidates for future lessors.
The City of Lubango only has two shopping centers, namely Millenium and Xyami Shopping.
