Angolan Business Group wins Public tender for shops management

Luanda - The business group (C.A.G.E.A) has won a competitive tender to run three of nine shops of the Poupa Lá supermarket chain under Angolan government Privatization Program (PROPRIV 2023-2026), ANGOP learnt Tuesday.

These are the shops located in Camama I, Icolo and Bengo, in Luanda, and Ganda and Benguela province. 

The C.A.G.E.A group paid the state a total of 293.4 million kwanzas. 

PROPRIV 2023-2026, which is run by the Institute for the Management of State Assets and Holdings (IGAPE), was launched last November and complied with all the necessary administrative procedures in accordance with the law. 

The other remaining shops have not yet been awarded, a statement said, adding that they will be re-tendered via electronic auction on a date to be announced.    

The remaining six Poupa Lá shops are located in different parts of the country, in provinces such as Luanda, Zaire and Cabinda.OPF/AC/DAN/AMP
