Luanda - The National Inter-Ministerial Commission, responsible for the implementation of the Privatization Programme (PROPRIV), meets on Tuesday, in Luanda, to assess issues related to this strategic programme of the Executive.
Angop has learnt that it is going to be a briefing between the media and the secretary of State for Finance and the Treasury, Osvaldo João, as coordinator of the Permanent Technical Group of the Privatization Programme.
PROPRIV was created with the aim of reducing State intervention in the economy and promoting business environment, as well as strengthening business capacity.
It also aims to promote competition, competitiveness and efficiency in the national economy, contributing to the development of the capital market.
The Privatization Programme is aligned with the National Development Programme 2018-2022 and is part of the Public Finance Reform, with a view to promoting macroeconomic stability, increasing the productivity of the economy and achieving a more equitable distribution of the national income.
