Lobito city has two important infrastructures in the Lobito Corridor, which extends far beyond national borders, with a structuring impact on the entire Southern African Development Community (SADC).
One is the Benguela Railway (CFB), which crosses the provinces of Benguela, Huambo, Bié and Moxico, to the borders of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia.
The other is the Port of Lobito, which accounts for a high percentage of the international trade of this entire sub-region, especially minerals from the DRC and Zambia.
In addition to these, Benguela province also has Catumbela International Airport, whose certification process is still underway.TC/CRB/AMP
