Cabinda – The Third Edition of the Entrepreneurial Women's Fair, in the norhern province of Cabinda, opened on Thursday, with the participation of 120 exhibitors, expected to surpass the transactions turnover of the previous exhibition.
The fair, which brings together exhibitors from the four municipalities that make up the province of Cabinda, welcomes agricultural products such as bananas, sweet and reindeer potatoes, cassava, corn, peanuts, as well as handicrafts and construction materials (paints, cement, among others).
According to the provincial secretary for integrated economic development, Cândida dos Santos, the objective of holding the event is to generate more business opportunities, encourage and empower women to embrace commerce.
Speaking at the opening of the event, the vice-governor for the Political and Social sector, Miguel de Oliveira, encouraged women to take advantage of the event to exchange experiences and acquire new knowledge about entrepreneurship.
The politician called for the promotion of more actions that contribute to promoting national production, expanding the production network, reducing imports and diversifying exports.
Running Under the motto “Invest today, and be always happy”, the fair features agricultural cooperatives, peasant associations, individual producers, economic agents, among other participants.
