Luanda - Brent opened for trading on the stock exchange, on Tuesday in Luanda, with a price of 79.78 dollars, on the international market, a depreciation of 0.45% compared to the previous day's opening.
According to the specialized website called “Investing.com”, the sales session on Monday ended at 80.15 dollars per barrel.
Brent is the oil that serves as a reference for exports from Angola, whose General State Budget (OGE) for 2025 was prepared based on a price of 70 dollars per barrel and an estimated production of 1 million barrels of oil per day.
In addition to Brent, listed on the London Stock Exchange and the main reference for the European market, the other type of price for a barrel of oil is West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the main reference for this commodity for the American market, which has its price on the New York Stock Exchange.
