Luanda – Angolan Investment Bank (BAI) was recently distinguished with the award for Safest Bank in Angola in 2023, by the prestigious North American magazine Global Finance.
The award, part of the 32nd annual edition of the ranking for the safest banks in the world, is the result of BAI's performance in the evaluation of long-term ratings in foreign currency, from the financial rating agencies Moody's, Standard & Poor's and Fitch, among the 1000 largest banks in the world.
In a press release sent to ANGOP today, the president of the BAI Executive Committee, Luís Léis, said that several macroeconomic factors make the current moment particularly complex, due to the pressure on the economy and society.
"With the trust and loyalty of our customers, with the competence, commitment of our employees and with the strategic support of shareholders, we are more than certain that BAI will continue to make a significant contribution to minimizing the impacts of this most challenging moment, both for the country and for the world economy”, highlighted the manager.
Global Finance magazine, founded in 1987, has readers in 193 countries, with a circulation of 50,000 copies.
With extensive experience in financial markets, it has become a reference in the banking area and its target audience is the largest international investment portfolio managers.
