Nambuangongo - The completion of asphalting works on the 22 kilometres of the Onzo-Muxaluando-Onzo-Gombe section, in the municipality of Nambuangongo, Bengo province, is scheduled for November this year.
Budgeted at 18 billion Kwanzas, the works began in January this year and are in charge of the company Afavias.
ANGOP found out during the visit of the governor of Bengo to the project, that of the 22 kilometers, 18 are already leveled, 10 already have the tuvenan layer and more than 8 are completely asphalted.
The contract includes the construction of drainage ditches along the entire route and 19 hydraulic passages, and has a physical execution of around 50 percent.
Speaking to the press, the governor made a positive assessment and recognized the work that the company has done in order to meet the established deadlines.
Regarding the population's request to make adjustments to the Gombe area, in an extension of 7 kilometers, he promised to articulate with the Ministry of Public Works, to include in the 2025 budget. PA/DOJ
