Luanda - Angolan government announced fees exemption for the start-ups expected to take part in the 3rd edition of ANGOTIC 2023 - International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies of Angola on 12-14 June in Luanda, ANGOP has learnt.
The move is meant to support for these sectors flourishing in the Angolan market, said the national director of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Matias Borges.
"The startups will not pay anything, because the Government understands that this is a way to support startups, he said.
The source said that the support will certainly encourage more startups adding that in the next edition we will be able to count on more companies that will evolve.
According to the official, so far there are more than 130 startups registered, and the selection process is underway to determine the desired number.
The Third edition of the ANGOTIC 2023 will be held under the slogan "Connectivity and Technological Modernisation". HEM/AC/DAN/NIC
