Luanda - Angola ambassador to Zambia, Albino Malungo, attended Wednesday, in Lusaka, at the Energy Forum for Africa (EFFA), according to a note from the diplomatic mission in this country.
Held under the theme “Investment Opportunities in the Energy Sector in Zambia and Africa”, the forum is an influential and dynamic platform dedicated to empowering sustainable energy solutions for Africa’s future.
According to the document, the event brings together industry leaders, policy makers, researchers, and innovators from across the globe to address the energy challenges and opportunities facing the African continent.
Participants have the opportunity to delve deeper into critical topics such as renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency measures, policy frameworks, financing models and innovative solutions for energy access.
Speaking at the opening, Zambia Head of State, Hakainde Hichilema, appealed to the need to expand energy infrastructure and create entrepreneurship opportunities in the sector, particularly for small-scale operators.
The document states that EFFA serves as a catalyst for change, providing a forum for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation. It is a platform where stakeholders can explore sustainable energy solutions, share best practices, and shape the energy agenda for Africa’s future
