Luanda - Angola will participate, as from Tuesday, in the “Expo Agrodinámica”, in Paraguay, with the aim of exhibiting and publicizing advances in agricultural technology.
According to a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Argentina sent this Monday to ANGOP, the event also serves as an opportunity for participants to maintain direct contact with the products and services of various companies, in addition to holding technical lectures, fairs livestock and static displays of machines and products.
According to the document, at the event, considered one of the greatest examples of technological innovation and agricultural practices in Paraguay, cultural and artistic activities will also be promoted, which will allow the integration of different sectors of society.
To this end, the Angolan delegation is led by the ambassador accredited to Paraguay, Azevedo Francisco, accompanied by the president of the Angola/Argentina Trade and Industry Chamber, Agilio Campos, among other Embassy staff.
According to the note, in the last 24 hours, ambassador Azevedo Francisco held, in the province of Encarnação (Paraguay), several meetings with the local business community and visited the rice production company “SEAGRO”, located in Colónia Fram.
At the meeting, the Angolan delegation was informed about the activity of the slaughterhouse and artificial insemination company AGRO GANADERA ITA POTY, with the two parties' interest in negotiating the signing of a possible agreement, with a view to transferring the technology and the production chain of this company for Angola.
"We are available to open the doors to the training of Angolan staff for the success of the business", assured the head of AGRO GANADERA ITA POTY, Carmem Ortigosa.
In turn, the Angolan ambassador, Azevedo Francisco, announced the National Livestock Development Plan and stressed Angola's desire to obtain the entire production network of the respective company.
On the occasion, the president of the Angola/Argentina Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Agilio Campos, said that the association will work and maintain contacts with Paraguayan businesspeople to establish bilateral partnerships.
In addition to Argentina, the Angolan ambassador accredited to Argentina also carries out a diplomatic mission in Paraguay.
