Luanda - Angola and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) discussed Tuesday, in Luanda, the start of the updating process of the cooperation framework between the Angolan government and the UN organisation.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, this was discussed during a meeting between the secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Lopes, and the FAO representative in Angola, Gherda Barreto Cajina.
The meeting also served to talk about renewing family and business farming policies, adds the statement.
The Food and Agriculture Organisation is a specialised United Nations agency that leads international efforts to eradicate hunger in the world.
It aims to achieve food security for all and ensure that people have regular access to enough good quality food to lead an active and healthy life.
