Luanda – The Angolan Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources Carmen Neto on Monday discussed with the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Luís Planas the possibility of installing factories for the production of fishing tools in Angola, according to a note released to ANGOP on Tuesday.
During the meeting held in Madrid, Carmen Neto and Luís Planas also talked on building vessels for artisanal fishing and construction of laboratories, within the scope of the bilateral cooperation agreement in force, to boost Angola’s blue economy.
The Angolan Minister took the opportunity to invite the Spaniards fishing entrepreneurs to attend Blue Economy Fair taking place in Benguela province October this year.
On the occasion, the Spanish minister showed total interest and willingness to continue relations between the two countries.
